When a wedding begins with a traditional church wedding ceremony and ends with the bride and groom sharing their first dance on a cloud of dry ice; then it is a definitely a wedding that we must be a part of. We were so honored to create, design and execute Michelle and Chris’s winter wonderland wedding celebration.
The wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful Corpus Christi Catholic Church . With the marvelous Kristen Weaver Photography capturing the details of the day, the bride and groom have memories to cherish forever. For the ceremony, we created a floral design of classic white hydrangea blooms with tall elegant white hybrid Delphinium shooting out the top. Wonderful white roses were tucked in throughout, with cascading white orchids accented with silver Brunia berry and Dusty miller, setting the tone for this Winter inspired wedding.
Michelle ‘s bouquet was an elegant all white bouquet of hydrangea blooms, gorgeous white peony floral with white orchids tucked in through. We added elegant white Phael orchids, accented with silver brunia berry and fresh dusty miller to keep the winter inspiration. Michelle’s attendants carried a bouquet similar, yet scaled down in size without the lovely peony floral. Gorgeous!
Chris looked handsome in his classic tuxedo with a complimenting pinned boutonniere of white Phael orchid that matched Michelle’s bridal bouquet. With a pop of color from their blue pocket squares, this was a good looking bridal party!
Following the ceremony, the guests were invited to the beautiful Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes for cocktail hour. They were greeted by unbelievably gorgeous customs mirror signage from Dogwood Blossom Stationery that welcomed the wedding guests and helped direct them to their seats for the reception. Centered between these beautiful seating charts, we re-purposed the church floral on pedestals and added in lovely white planter vessels with complimenting floral at the base of the seating charts.
When it was time for the reception, the guests were welcomed into the Ritz Carlton Grande Lakes ballroom that was transformed into the most magical winter wonderland. Blush by Brandee Gaar made sure that all the wedding day details fell into place. Everywhere you turned it was a wonderful winter inspired design! Images of wintery snowy trees were seen around the ballroom, surrounding the guests in a winter wonderland . The table décor throughout the ballroom were covered with several combinations of table settings . On some tables, we placed elegant silver and crystal Manzanita trees with cascading orchids, while other tables were dressed out with tall frosted glass cylinder vessels clustered in the center, with floating candles in beds of winter inspired floral.
The special family tables and the main bridal feasting table was dressed out with silver Manzanita pedestal vessel, placed down the center of the table with lush wintery bouquets of floral across the top and the base of the table. Finishing up the look with elegant crystal and floating bubbles of candles with snow insets. What a stunning winter setting!
As the bride and groom shared their first dance in a wintry cloud of ice, their family and friends felt the warmth of their love throughout the beautifully decorated ballroom. The magical evening was one of dreams and we are so glad we were able to help make their wedding dreams come true.
